Rufiji River Camp is located on the banks of the Rufiji river, where a continuous flow of animals comes to drink from the permanent waters, offering visitors of the camp possible game viewing at all times. The tented camp, situated in the heart of the reserve, is environmentally friendly and each tent is equipped with private bathroom and a veranda facing the river. The center of camp is comprised of the restaurant, bar and library, all with views of the river and the sunset. All of the camp structures, kitchen included, are constantly renovated, attaining the highest level of comfort without sacrificing the emotion of a total immersion in a completely natural environment. Electricity and hot water are powered by solar panels, while UHV-filtered drinking water is available throughout camp (including tents). A covered swimming pool is situated in the camp, between reception and mess area.

To start off your adventure, you'll be pampered in the Moivaro Coffee Plantation. It is a nice touch after your international flight.

Here you will find a charming atmosphere together with every comfort: an ideal spot to enjoy the impressive flora and fauna of East Africa. The staff goes out of their way to ensure that you are looked after in a unique, friendly and peaceful environment, helping you to prepare for your safaris and cosseting you on your return in the evening. You can always choose to relax and enjoy the beautiful vista of Mount Meru from the comfortable veranda, or perhaps laze at the pool, nestling in the midst of tropical trees and coffee plants. Picturesque cottages are set in beautiful gardens, each with their own veranda and all the modern comforts. Facilities include a swimming pool, children's playground, 2km nature trail, massage room, internet facilities and room service.
